The Futures Group was engaged during a period of growth and development to partner with the company’s HR Manager to build capacity and expertise through the provision of support, advice and guidance to develop and deliver a 3-4 year Strategic Human Resources Management (HRM) Plan (3-4 years) and an associated 12 month HRM Operational Plan.

The Futures Group consulted with management and staff through meetings and workshops to identify key strengths and areas for development, key levels of understanding of staff and to examine processes, structures and systems. Issues and viewpoints of staff and key stakeholders in relation to the organisation’s strategic vision were documented.

This process provided a framework, strategies and advice to support management and staff to achieve the desired culture. The Futures Group then worked with the HR Manager to integrate elements of recommendations into staff training.

The results of the project were a clear longer-term Strategic HRM Plan, a clear Operational HRM Plan, and an Implementation Assessment clearly defining the quick wins, high priorities, lower priorities and longer term issues to address, as well as clearly articulated the next steps required.
