Exit Interview feedback had raised a number of concerns in relation to the culture of a large team. A consultation process was required to clearly establish current staff perceptions, opportunities for improvement and future alignment of the work priorities of the team with the directorate’s strategic directions.

The Futures Group (TFG) engaged and worked with the team through a process of individual interviews and a workshop to overview and discuss the key aspects of a High-Performance Team Culture to engage staff to identify any gaps and plan strategies to address key issues raised and to identify and align their future work priorities.

A development exercise was also conducted using PRINT® (Predictive Insight Tool) to help the team to develop an enhanced understanding of themselves, their impact on others, and to develop strategies to manage any potential negative behaviour. The work enhanced the accountability of each team member and provided them with skills to self reflect and understand their potential impact on others and provided strategies for them to manage their individual behaviours.
